Hi everyone I have just signed up and already have a problem with a welder I just scored from work for nothing which is a monofil 251 which I cleaned up and got going but have a problem with gas leaking back in box when trigger pulled on.
I have put my finger over hole which wire feeds into and it comes out of hand piece good so would it be something simple as the o ring worn out?.

Bit delayed but welcome Reece. There should be an o'ring just behind the nut that holds the wire liner in (assuming it's a euro type torch). It may also be that the liner is a bit poor, causing the gas to backup and find it's way out via the wire feed-in point as there is not a lot of pressure the gas will find the easiest way out.
