Hello everyone,

I am in the process of restoring a 74 beetle and although the welding has been done by a mate of mine its only a matter of time until it needs more!

So i have been 'googling' and looking around for hints, tips, info and mig welders and everytime this forum pops up. So i figured id sign up

Seems very good so far but will be after a mig in the not too distant future so i can get started. The hopefully by the time the car needs welding, il be good enough to do some!

So a big hello from me!!

Born and bred in Consett, during the great years of the steel works, have lived in Devon since 74, my sister and family still live in Birtley....

When I was working for ESSO, I came down here during a leave that I had, never went back, since then have lived and worked all over the world.

I can see why. Ive been to a few places in Devon years ago but mainly cornwall recently. love it down there. Il be back in Newquay on the 30th June for a couple of weeks so hope the weather improves!!
