[Cortina Mungo]

Hello, I am Mungo. I am new to computers and sometimes struggle with them so forgive me if things dont always come out right. I am a self taught Mig welder through necessity as my hobby is restoring old Mk2 Cortinas and has been for many years. Over the years I have changed job to a point now that I work as a service technician at a local company. Most of my weekends are taken up with working on or sorcinging parts for my Cortina. In 2009 I took a city and guilds course in classic car restoration. That covered welding, panelcraft and painting as well as other aspects of working old cars. Recently I have been working on my 1500 Super Automatic. I will try to learn how to post photos but as I said I am better with a hammer and dolly than a laptop.

Hi Cortina Mungo, welcome to the forum, don't worry; we're easy going here!

1500 Super Auto... That's a pretty rare car. Uni-flow engine... I've still got bits hanging around from an old 1500GT I once... "had". The manifold mods that Ford had done to it were outstanding. Very back-end happy... lot'sa fun!

I miss the old cars...

There's a forum "uploading photo's" tut here, that's really easy to follow. Post up some pics, I'd love to see it!
