The names gerry i live & work (when I can get it) in the North Highlands as a freelance mech. with a bent for 4x4 (land/range rover freek) but not that fussy. 40 yrs in the game all over uk. Get this far north & find nobody wants to weld cars & the like. Gas is my favourite but takes to long & distorts so its time to lern MIG. Found this site by accident & am glad I did (you wont be) as the level of dum questions I will bring will probably reach a new level & that will be after looking at all the tutorials so good luck.
