My name is Andrew and I am currently having some welding work done on a Honda Civic I picked up as a runabout, (I am not a welder, sorry!)
I was really searching for some advice in general on the internet about rust and welding techniques however and stumbled across you guys and your wealth of knowledge. I have posted a quick query about my car in the projects section therefore to see if anyone can help me, (if that is the wrong place then apologies).
I did try using the search facility but am probably not wording things correctly to get what I want, so apologies if my query is a bit of a noob one
I hope somebody can help me however.
This is the car anyway if anyone is interested, I am not really planning a full restoration but would like to get a couple of years extra out of it if I can as it does 45mpg and costs £200 pa to tax and insure, which is insane for a 22 year old car!! The sills and archs are shot though so that it is why I was searching for advice.
I will definetly be bookmarking you guys for future reference anyway and will maybe stick around and keep you updated at to how the civic progresses if anyone is interested??

I already have the panels though, found them through Beevers Panels in Barnsley, £94.19 incl VAT and delivery for OS and NS sills and archs, which I though was excellent. They are a really good fit as well given that they are pattern panels. I will defintely keep that for future reference however as Beevers don't stock all parts.
