hello to you all,i have been welding for a while but never with a tig,i have used stick,gas and my fav is mig i have a murex autolynks had it around ten years,very good machine.Anyway i am going to get tig so no doubt there will be a lot of questions to be asked and by the look of this forum there will always be an answer. Welcome. As a hobbyist, I love TIG but use MIG when I can't be bothered working at the bench. Sometimes I wonder if the appeal is more in the tools rather than the result - you'd think so looking at my workshop: Loads of tools, barely any time to play, I mean work with them.
