HELP! Dull Paint

hey guys i recently painted a vectra front bumper and was happy with it, it came out shiney and had a great reflection in it,

however i have just painted the passenger side of my mg zs and the paint is dull theres no reflection, could anyone tell me what ive done wrong? Maybe not enough coats or something, im really not sure where ive went wrong with it?

sounds like you may have put it on too dry, try flatting and polishing it to see if it brings the shine up Ant!

What type of paint are you using? Also does the paint surface have a milky finish (common with aerosols when it's a bit cold or damp).

Is it a metallic colour of a solid colour?
