Help finding a universal joint

Hey guys, I'm trying to find a universal joint for the buggy I'm building and I'm hoping someone could recommend me a supplier. It's for the steering rack and it needs to have a 5/8" 36 spline input one side and 3/4" input the other side. I've tried the Google route but I'm getting nowhere at the minute.

Just in case your wondering what I'm building, below are a couple of pics, one of the frame I have just finished and another quick mock up of what the final project will look like. It's thanks to these Forums that I have learnt to weld, so a big thanks to all those that have helped so far

Thanks for the link. I'm finding it impossible to find a 5/8" UJ in the UK but plenty of 9/16". Are they close enough in size to fit?

sorry, not up on medievil measuring systems.

Do you know what car the steering rack is from? could you find a uj to fit in the scrappy?

I struggle with imperial too. The steering rack is designed for off road buggies and the specs say it has a 5/8" 36 spline input shaft. A scrap yard may be a good option.

5/8" is bigger than 9/16", basically equivalant to 14mm & 16mm but the metric won't fit correctly. you need a 5/8 36 to be safe.
