Help for a new Welder

Hi All,

I have just started welding and my Rockworth 120amp Powertask has stopped sparking.

By reading other posts, I have checked the earth, relay & for any loose connections or rust. All to no avail.

Can anyone suggest what the cause of the fault might be?

Any suggestions welcome.

Hi ,

Yes, & the earth connection to the garage.

I have power & the wire feeds through. I have also checked all the internal fuses .Just no Spark.

Is it a live torch machine or is the welding current switched from the torch? If so check the contractor and wiring.

Does the relay have a clear(ish) cover? look for burn marks from the contacts inside.

Thanks for the suggestions. The relay has a black cover so no can do.
The Welding current is switched on from the torch so I will check the contractor and wiring tomorrow.
