Tricky little problem
I need to paint a couple of projects in customer specified finishes, I know the finish they mean but i've never used it before........
What the hell are they ?
Black wrinkly "wrought iron" effect paint.
Looks like a cheap, nasty fast dry epoxy or something, makes clean smooth mild steel look wrought, ****** to get off when you need to fix the broken welds.
Black lacquer paint.
Really thin, almost see through tinted lacquer effect paint that goes over clean steel without a primer, you can still see the resistance welded seam through it, as found on garden products sold in "Wilkinsons" for example.
Oh, and while i'm on the subject, anyone used Plasticote "hard cote finish" the flexible acrylic water based coating ?
I could do with going water based, fumes are becoming a nuisance.
