Help in fixing my compressor

About 3 years ago I bought was sold to me as an Ingresoll Rand compressor (vertical tank). After about 3 months the compressor made a horrible noise, seized the drive belt and stopped!

I dismantled the compressor pump, took some pictures and got in touch with Ingersoll Rand. Then I find out the compressor pump is one they have never heard of or have had any dealings with.

So, I a, looking for some help if possible. The previous owner had obviously had a reed valve fail and had bodged it with a disc and spring. The spring had gone and this is what has jammed. I have made good the hole, but I am looking for the reed valve, or any other (clean) suggestions as to how I can get this working again.

There are a load of pictures below, one of the pump as a whole and some of the broken valve plate and a good valve plate for comparison. Any help is appreciated.

most 2stroke motor cycles use reed valves, that maybe a little help

Nothing of that shape unfortunately.

I have some spring steel, but as is the nature of the beast, how do you cut it? Also with the holes, I suspect I'll have to find a way of punching them through, rather than trying to drill as they will just grab.
I assume in manufacturing they are punched out.

it can be cut with a slitting blade on an angle grinder,and you can drill it with a pillar drill clamp it between 2 bits of metal, it cant move then and shouldnt grab as its got to drill the outer metal at the same time, thus stopping grab
