Help my knob is stuck!

Sorry couldn't resist the heading!

Forklift key switch is playing up. Got to remove panel to get at it but the emergency stop button is in the way.
Do I just yank it with brute force and ignorance or is there a better way?

Does it turn to access a grub screw through the hole in the shaft?
If its for work should a yale approved engineer do the repair?

I'd try unscrewing it first.

What about that conspicuous pin just below the knob.

Only noticed the hole when I took the photo - will turn it and see. Knob just spins around. Won't unscrew.

Just stuck a nail through hole and it unscrewed easy peasy.

The video shocked me - I never knew the Germans had a sense of humour!

Seriously though I can never work out if it was done as a spoof or a serious training video - it certainly shows some of the real accidents that can occur.

I first saw that video about 25 years ago, redicovered it a month ago when i was asked by a D&T teacher if i could find any good H&S videos to show the kids, i sent him links to a couple and included it for his amusement. He only went & showed "Klaus" to a class of year 7's! Most of them loved it. Im surprised he / we didnt get into trouble from an irate parent.
