The air plumbing side is obvious, with a big arrow engraved on the block.
The electrical 230v (single phase) wiring is where I am struggling.
It has a 2 piece connector, namely one screws the wires into connectors on the first section, and then this part pushes onto 3 prongs on the body, All held together by a long bolt.
But which is positive and which is negative?
Assuming the top middle is earth?
There are 3 other terminals, one of which Marked No. 3 has no connector or blade (i.e. redundant). So that leaves terminal No. 1 and terminal No. 2 plus the top one with an earth sign.
I have just guessed, that terminal No. 1 is the Positive, and No. 2 is the Negative??
Q. But is that correct? Or being AC does it even matter? (Never was much good at electrics). I had expected to see + and - signs.
Obviously the plug is fused so the AC source is protected.
any help appreciated.
