Help with air compressor hose valve

Hello,
I purchased a pneumatic bottle crimping machine. However, the air compressor hose that I purchased does not fit on to the nozzle of the crimping machine. Please find attached a photo. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's a quick release connector for quite small diameter tube, works a bit like plumbing push fit connectors.

You can unscrew it from the regulator and screw a tail in that suits your hoses connector.

Red area would work though I'm wondering what the blue item is? A check valve? If the yellow area is 1/4 BSP thread too then perhaps that would be the best option.

By euro fitting I assume you mean pcl xf style?

You can get them from eBay, Amazon etc or if you have a screwfix local?

Put a few wraps of PTFE tape round the threads to make sure it seals up.

Yes the blue sleeve pulls back. Im assuming it locks the connection in place.
This is the air hose that I purchased from ebay. I am assuming that the bit I circled red is what attaches to that nozzle.

Ah I see, so if you release that coupler what tail is on it?

Personally I'd just remove it a fit a new tail.

Fab, I will do that. So just to recap, I need to buy the adaptor that you sent me the link to and replace the whole tail from the base of the regulator. Is that correct?

Isn't that a release valve, can you slide the blue sleeve over the tube? I have on of these, they close off the supply and depressurize the machine for service or so, really neat.

No idea. I would disconnect the supply and de-pressurise from the water trap before working on it anyway.
