Help with my compressor please

Hello I have a Clarke sv11c100 'professional' compressor that is just over a year old it's playing up tripping it's thermal cutout every 2 minutes and taking forever and ever to do anything :resetting just for it to cut out more or less straight away over and over. Its daily drained(when i power it down)
I have been in contact with Machinemarts repair guys and apparently they will need it for 3 months to 'fix' so I'm up the creek without a paddle unless I go with that and hire one out

Would buying a set of the ridiculously priced rubber feet actually help it? although it has ran ok without them prior??

If you could help me out with a suggestions or 2 ill be well grateful, I have looked for repair guys in local press but they all say they 'have no idea about them'....Brilliant

what has rubber feet got to do with the motor tripping .ive got to ask its either overload or the motors had it. or the cutouts weak

some dude (local doosh sparky) came to see it and said that was why it was not working because it didn't have its anti vibrate feet on, I don't know tbh I paint stuff
how do I check them??

Check all connections and get the capacitor checked out.

I've some things, but that takes the biscuit!

Try taking the belt off and see if the motor still cuts out.

second that reply, remove the vee belts and run the motor off load, see if it still trips under no load.

Also, not necessarily anything to do with your cutting out problem, but as you spray paint check the air filter, if the compressor is in the same area as where you paint it will be choked with spray residue !
