Very excited to learn about welding..Kinda jumping in for the purpose of DIY Auto restoration, but also to have the ability to do all sorts of repairs and possibly fabrication.
I am a fan of most muscle cars ..Currently into Buicks , 70 Skylark, 86GN
Borrowing my old mans Cambel Hausfeild flux/mig welder to learn on, Also have an Arc welder to tinker around with as well..

Welcome to the forum chris. Many people start learning welding to do auto restoration, I was one myself. I was sick of paying someone £50 to do three inches of welding, i thought, "hey im sure i can do that" Four years later i have tried every welding method under the sun, its a great skill to learn.

.Heh , I am already starting to loose it just from drilling out spots welds on a donor car..lol
Practicing plug welding right now..Still have yet to get a sheilding gas hooked up..saving some pennies..
