Found you on google when searching for some welding info, looks like your all pretty helpful so I've signed up to hang around and see what I can learn from you all 
I've no experience with using a welder but would like to learn as it will always come in handy working on cars (as a hobby not a profession). Also I should soon be getting a car which to begin with at least needs half a sill welded in and some patches welded in on the bootlid where a spoiler was.
I picked up a SIP Weldmate T90P (Gas) from ebay about half a year ago when I was intending to get a car which needed a fair bit of welding done, but buying the car fell through so the welder has sat on the shelf gathering dust since then.
From reading some of the threads on here, perhaps I didn't make the right choice in welders for working on cars, but unfortunately I can't afford anything else so am stuck with it for the forseeable future.
