Hi to all
new on this forum been mig & tig welding for last 8 years no qualifications as of yet, but recently enrolled at college to do city & guilds level 2 in tig welding skills. so would be nice to hear from people who have done this course to know what i should expect things i should be familar with. Most of the work i have done is from sheet not much experience doing repair jobs, I use the Miller dynasty 350 at work great machine, i have lots of experience tig welding aliuminium (1.5-8mm) bit less with mild steel an only a small amount of stainless & galv (1-6mm) and alot of experience with the mig. Hoping to get myself a portable decent single phase dc maybe ac depending on budget after christmas. I'd like to start doing the odd weekend jobs but where would i find the work? as i dont know alot of people who are in need of a welder. Added couple pics from odd job or 2 that i've done
thanks for taking the time to read this Ben
