Hello there as the title of the post suggests im new to this website, i have been directed to this site many times before and have found it very useful especially when purchasing my welder. The reason for this post is im a paintsprayer by trade and have just moved into my new workshop,I have acquired some new extractor fans and have absoloutely no idea how to wire 3 phase electricity and dont fancy being electrocuted by 415 volts, so any help would be most appreciated. Thanks for reading

If my memory serves me correctly then generally for a 3 phase motor you just connect the three phases and leave the neutral off. If it spins the wrong way you just need to swap one of the live connections round.

Get some advice from a local industrial sparky, do the work yourself (if confident) and get it inspected / tested before use.
