Hello everyone, my name is Dave and I live near Doncaster.
Just a few lines to tell you what I am about, I have a Cebora Autostar 180 which I bought new a good few years ago, it's not had a tremendous amount of use, just body panels on various restoration projects.
I have been using Co2 and a hand held mask up until now and managed to get a reasonable result but, having read lots of the older posts I have just upgraded to a Parweld auto mask and Argoshield gas and I can't believe the difference. I should have done it years ago.
My next major welding project will be to fabricte a subframe and wishbones plus trailing arms and panhard rod for my current restoration.
I had planned to tack it all together and have a pro do the final welding but I am so pleased with the gas/mask upgrade that I will do it myself.
The majority will be 25mm x 1.5mm box so the machine should be up to it.
I just have to say what a great site this is and that I look forward to learning from you guys.
Dave
