Think this is a great site, tons of info available.
I found the site while trying to find info on which type of welding I need to learn.

I want to set up a business making bespoke wrought iron gates/fences.

I have checked lots of info but am still unsure do i go mig or stick ?

Any advice will be greatfully appreciated

Hi Panda Man,
Personally I would choose MIG for that unless they are going to be really heavy gates. Will you be building them indoors - if working outdoors you will inevitably have problems with the breeze blowing the shielding gas away on some days.

Thanks for your input, most of the time i will be working in my workshop and again most of the time the gates will not be really heavy.
