I have been mig'in for 20 + years after my boss said the transit failed its mot here's a welder!

I still don't know if I'm doing it right but it all seems to work
Found this forum as I am looking for a plasma cutter and found your posts on the £350 Essex steam guy, looks good.

I also have a set of oxy acetelyn bottles but have no gas, they are BOC, anyone help?

Shocking isn't it when you add it all up. I've not got to the 20 year mark yet but the remainder will surely go before I notice.

Haven't dealt with the essex steam guy yet but from another thread he seems good at sending replacements under warranty. Would hate to be out of warranty, though as I say you've made me feel old.

For the gas bottles you are OK. No chance of having BOC refill them without starting up an expensive rental, but search for gasman in the members list - he can supply cheaper gas in your area.
