Hi all. I'm Steve, originally from Northern Ireland but been living in south east England these last 4 years. I'm a plant fitter of 30 years experience and have done a fair bit of welding and cutting in my time. I found this forum when looking for my current welder, a Clarke 165 TEM mig. Useing the opinions and views given on this site I can safely say I made a wise move in purchasing this model. I use it mostly for repairing rusty Land Rovers and Transits and have made up various guards and side steps for my much abused Nissan Terrano. This is a great site and I hope to pick the brains of its members for a few more projects I have in the pipeline.

Dont think I would like Landrovers if they didnt rust, There would be nothing to fix then, Exept everything else on it

Will it be a space frame thingy,Or a copy of the original?

almost exact replica is what i want, probably some mods to make it fit various other engine and gearbox combos
