hi everyone

just signed up, i have been browsing here for a while though.
I started welding about 10 years ago when i rebuilt my renault 5 front end, which was a bit of a baptism of fire (litteraly on one underseal incident!) and this site would have been very useful then!

I bought a SIP migmate 105 to do the R5 and i havent used it for a good few years since. I did a short spate at an engineering firm and realised how a top notch machine makes work alot easier!!
unfortunately i now only weld on an occasional hobby basis and cant justify an upgrade. the dodgy wire feed has now brought me here! got a few bits to weld now so thought id join up.

im not on it anymore, used to go on when i was considering an SV650 few years back, went down the hot hatch route instead though and got a Focus ST, at the rate petrol is goin up i maybe on a pedal cycle soon let alone a 650!!
