I'm a newbie on this forum and hail from Perth, Western Australia.

Not great at welding and need to learn to do a better job. I reckon this forum, from what I've seen so far, is going to suit me right down to the ground.

What type of welding are you into, and do you have a welder already? Do share photos of projects - always intersting to see what other people are up to.

Thanks for the welcome.

I have both a MIG welder and a stick welder, but I don't consider myself very good at using either of them and would like to learn to do a better job. My welds are usually strong, but not as pretty as I would like them. I always have to do a lot of grinding.

I'm only interested in general welding jobs for myself at home.....general handyman stuff.

I haven't got any projects on the go at the moment, but I'm happy to put up some pictures of future projects.

Examples of what I have done in the past include building all of the patios around my house, my workshop, steel framed deck, a cage on my trailer and a whole lot of other small stuff. If you're interested, I'll post some pictures.

Hi Geoff! welcome to the forum!
Offcourse you can put up pictures of your projects, it's always interesting to see what other fellow welders have made...i'm sure your welds look fine! post some pics maybe we can give you some hints and tips!
