Hi everyone... joined a week ago, but I'm bored at work, so thought i'd introduce myself.
Im an engineering/computer science student in Perth, Western Australia. Halfway through my degree. Been lurking on here for about a year now, finally joined up. I love the forum. And the 'practical' sections. Everyone is so helpful and friendly!
I've been welding (stick) since I was about 10, and I've had my mig for nearly a year now. Also done some Oxy/propane brazing for a couple of years.
I've got: a (very) cheap 'Ozito' brand stick welder, Oxy/propane brazing/cutting setup and my new baby, the Lincoln PowerMIG 180C.
My main project at the moment is a 1970 Ford Capri. Got it for $100, so its in bad shape! Doesnt run, full of rot. It had a 4cyl 1600, but I'm going to convert it to a 302 Windsor with EFI. Should be interesting ! I'd love to know if anyone has any experience with the conversion? Or Capri's in general?
