hi i have been sign up on here for sometime now but this my 1st post so i would like to say hello 2 everyone. i do banger racing, so i make roll cages, water tank, fuel tank etc.

i have a little dc tig welder its scrach start i need some help with getting started and what to set my dual regulator too and the vavle on my wp9 torch and what is better a regulator or flow meter?

if someone can help me i will be a big help

Greetings Carl. what sort of welder is it (what make and model) As for regulator or flow meter, both do a good job.I use a flow meter at college and a dual regulator at home and notice no difference with either.

hi zardoz, its a parweld XTI 140 dc inverter and i have a parweld WP9v scratch start tig torch with a gas valve on the torch. i have never tig welded so i would to know is 1, what to set my regulator at. 2, the best way to strike an arc. 3, the gas valve on the torch how much do i open it up. if you can help me it will be a big help.

hi simon718, 99% of the banger roll cages are made out of box cus its easy to make them, but i like my tube cage it was harder to make, i made it to just to see if i can make it out of tube.

the only cars i have raced are nissan's i.e, sunnys,primera,almera they are nice car for racing.
