Hello from a new recruit based in Surrey. My main hobby is collecting and shooting antique guns and I have been slowly learning various metalworking skills in order to maintain them. I also run the action shooting section of a shooting club so I need to learn to weld so I can maintain the steel reactive targets we use. With the aid of your tutorial I have become reasonably proficient at stick welding but my aim is to become good enough to be able to fabricate complete target frames from steel tube.

With a bit of practice you`ll be making re-active targets yourself in no time.
When i was a young bloke i was told some wise words "Practice is the only way your going to improve, listen to those who know more than you ans the only stupid question is the one you DONT ask" so welcome to the boards and remember, we ove pics here.
