My name is Pete served time as welder 34 yrs ago welded for 8 yrs got paid off was working in haulage firm doing lorry repairs/fabricating etc mig,arc gas etc Ended up being full time runner for a couple of years road/cross country.
Got job as lifeguard in local pool learned first aid and ended up in Scottish Ambulance Service now 24 yrs in a paramedic and love it to bits .
Still enjoy visiting the old craft and have offered to repair an Alpha 156 with a knackered floor pan ! so will be exploring what mig to go for have been lurking for a while on here we used to use a boc transmig 3 phase but on heavy stuff but it was a good machine,would love one of weldquips 15 amp numbers will need to see how the pennies work out but they look awsome,failing that second hand cebora 130 or similar maybe.
Hobbies mostly fly fishing but like most sports 17 year old son plays for Falkirk FC oldest son 19 computer whiz kid at uni and my baby is nearly 12 she wants to be a vet .
