Hi all , Im gazza from queensland, looking forward to hopefully learning lots from this forum and meeting some good people....

I'm 44 , I love tinkering in the shed, I like to do my maintenance on my cars and stuff and maintain my boys motocross bikes,

I recently bought a small arc welder so i am hopefully going to learn how to use it properly over the coming months...... the first thing i want to try and build is a welding table but i really need to learn how to do a basic weld before I set about the table..... cheers

Welcome Gazza to the forum, there's plenty of info for an aspiring welder here, make sure you have a good read through all the relevant sections. It can be difficult to learn how to weld without first having a few reference points.
Whereabouts in QLD are you, I'm on the Sunny Coast.

hi zealous , well its a small world I'm on the Sunny Coast too, I'm at Glass House Mountains just down the road from Bokarina,... and yes it looks like there is plenty of good reading on here to get my teeth into
