Hi! I'm yet another newb and thought I'd say hello. I'm looking to pick up some tips and inspiration for getting my pride and joy up to sratch (a little bit of welding, lots of rust treatment and respraying most panels will be needed):
I've owned it for 5 years and have done everything on it myself in that time but have never been good at bodywork, so now it's time to get stuck in. I've now got another car and a big garage so it's coming off the road some time this summer and hopefully getting a good paint job and all the rust gone for a few years at least.
(Here's the new car - it better not need any welding or spraying for long time!)

I've done a bodywork repair evening course in Wolverhampton (MIG welding and spraying) a couple of years ago and this year did a welding evening course at Cambridge Regional College (MIG and TIG welding to C&G level 1) so I think I'm actually good enough for the little bit of welding I think it will need but am pretty new to spraying and compressed air at all.
Anyway, hello!
Ray
