Hello everyone,

I just joined this forum and thought I would introduce myself. I have several hobbies. I enjoy carpentry, mechanics, woodworking, and just generally fixing things. Sometime ago I took some art lessons and have done some paintings, enjoyed that very much, although it takes a lot of beer. I have wanted to learn to weld for many years. I recently decided that since I was not getting any younger, I may as well start. Through this forum, and others like it, I have gained a lot of knowledge and am progressing with my welding hobby pretty well. Just wanted to say hello and thanks for all of the great informaton here.

Welcome cabranch47 As you say a great site for information and help. I thought that painting usually involved oil based or even water based paint, but beer based?
