I've been smitten by the desire to learn to weld stuff.
Mostly to mod motorbike frames and make woodburning stoves from gas bottles and random bits of scrap plate.
My first efforts at mig welding have been less than encouraging using a mate's SIP Handymate gasless. At first I thought it was me that would never make a welder but have since realised it's the Handymate that will never make a welder!
I've looked through the site and found it to be a mine of useful info from knowledgeable people (including an accurate assessment of the Handymate lol).
Hoping to gain from all that experience.
