Hi everyone - I'm 53, work in Port Talbot steelworks, where I aprenticeship as a Fitter/Turner
I've arc welded as a rare hobby over the last 20 years (when something has broken) with variable results.
In desperation I attended a few evening classes, to try to improve. Instructor was happy with my 1st weld onwards - to which I replied 'So am I, you should see what happens at home'.
He thought it was probably the 'buzz-box'
Finally, I've decided to update to to an Inverter - knowing nothing about them, I started researching on the internet, which led me here and then to Weldequip ........... Tec-Arc 166i due for delivery today ........ and hopefully, the rest is history
