Afternoon.... I joined after reading the excellent tutorial pages on the main website, having seen a link on another forum (oldskoolford I think).
I have the use of a Clarke weld 100E Mk2 MIG welder, which seems to work well enough, and some crappy Chinese TIG welder which is awful. Dad's welded stuff for years, and my workshop is right next door to a professional welding company, so until now I've been lazy & got them to weld anything up that I needed doing..... but, I have to move to a new workshop soon, and I'm planning a nut&bolt restoration of a car, which will require welding skills.
Looking forward to learning loads here!
I also mess about with old stationary engines, and I've got a lathe & milling machine for other metal-related fun.
Cheers!
Ade.
