I have been lurking on here for a while, so thought it was about time I registered properly and said hello.
This site and the forum is a mind of info which is great for a beginner like myself.
I am currently restoring a rare Ford Escort MK2 RS2000 X-pack, pretty much all of the welding is done and I am prepping it for paint.. so far its taken me nearly 5 years to get where I am today..
Having never welded before my mate Richie had done most of the welding on the car, and only now recently I have got my own gear and had a go (mainly on bits you won't see )
Having just moved to Swindon from Bournemouth I am trying to find a local gas supplier as my bottle seems to be empty (think the vale got opened during the move). So far no luck as both of the suggestions in the gas stockist list have drawn a blank.
Anyway enough of me.. If anyone is remotely interested in seeing some (well quite a lot) photo's of my ongoing resto see the link....
