Hi guys,
Been looking around this forum for a while and have learned a few bits and also have a few questions. I'm an active member on a few car forums, but this is my first fabrication forum.
I've been mostly involved in MIG welding making various parts for 4x4's like winch mounts, heavy duty sills, heavy duty bumpers etc. Here are a few pics of things I have made with the mig (and plasma cutter):
(mods this ^ isnt a business plug, I don't run this business any more)
more recently I've been having a play with tig welding, and have bought myself a super expensive (lol) £130 ebay chines fellow with hf start. With a bit of practice I've got my welds to this standard:
and I would like to improve on this further. It's positional welding that I need practice on and things like tube etc. It will come in time I guess.
Anyway I will save my questions for the main forum, Just wnted to say hi
