Hi guys, I need some assistance

Good morning one and all, hope everyone is well. My name is Fabio and im an apprentice currently undergoing my first year in Welding at Croydon College and I require some assistance on an assignment which I am struggling to come to terms with.

I am naturally quite clever but I was thrown in at the deep end and put on a course which I had relatively no clue about and am slowing getting to grips with the practical side and just need a bit of guidance on the theory side.

Having joined late in the year, im missing alot of my theory paper work which is hindering my assignment and wanted to fire some pretty 'routine' (for you lot anyway) questions across to you guys to assist me please.....

Here goes....

'Name what materials the pipe should be made from for transporting acetylene and oxygen gases supplied from a manifold' - I thought it was Iron or steel for both

"What is the BS standard for steel pipe to be used for the 3 year competency test" - In my notes i had BS 1387B from TR5 Codes of Practice

"What should be the included angle for a Butt weld in heavy grade steel pipe"


Any help and answers would be greatly appreciated.

I would think that the pipes to carry oxy.and fuel gas FROM the manifold will be standard recommended flexible hoses.
