Hi, i think ive found another home

Hello people, my names Glenn, ive just got into welding, done a bit of arc in the past for fun, well, wouldnt call it fun trying to weld exhausts and not realy knowing what the hell i was doing apart from blowing lots of holes.

Ive been reading on here for the past week or so and gathered lots of info. Ive just got hold of a clarke 165e as my car needs some welding on the inner sills and some minor bit in other places, its to be expected for a 22 year old motor. I had new outta sills and arches and paid £300 last april and thought balls am i paying for that again i will just do it myself.

Just thought i would pop in here and say hi.

I done all that last week, found the carpet was wet and thats where it started from, found 2 big holes and a couple of minor ones. Took the whole carpet out to dry it in the spare room, and stuck the seats back, and a couple of rags to block the holes for now, as it is my daliy driver.

Its only an old mazda 323 4x4 turbo, had it 5 years, and plan to keep it for many more. Ive let it go a bit over the years, but this year its all going to get done, needs sorting for its re-spray.

One make of car i have never owned and thats a VW. Before i had a pug 205 1.9GTI, hence the name puggy, its a name that ive used on websites over the years and easy enough to remember by now. I like the old skool motors, not a fan of all these moden cars.
