Hi - Land Rover Owner From North Wales

Hi, my Land Rover Defender and impending Mini project has persuaded me to get set up for welding. I have a Snap On 130 mig welder that I've borrowed from my Dad, it's currently on CO2 only and I think it has a few issues regarding set up / servicing but I'll get into that in the correct part of the forum!

I've had a quick scan about and the forum has already helped, I hope one day to give some help back!

I'm guessing there are a few Landy / Mini fans on here...

Nice one, my Defender is more of a rolling project but I'd love to stick a galve chassis under it one day and build it from scratch

That's what I did with lightweight. Was doing a gearbox swap and found several large holes in chassis and lots of bodged repairs so decided to get a galv chassis and start from there
