well ive been looking around the forum for quite a while now seems very friendly and loads of info on all types of welding so decided to join up, im not exactly new to welding as im a pipe fitter welder started at 17 with a 4 year apprenticeship which included a year of oxy acetylene welding and a year of arc welding 2 years of pipe fitting, still doing it now over 35 years later and enjoy it most of the time,i have a Lincoln 140 inverter arc welder plus a gys 160 mig welder, Ive owned a 1972 mk 2 triumph 2500 saloon for the past couple of years and like working on it ive always had old or classic cars, anyway I bought the gys 160 mig welder about three months back for work on the triumph and cut out 30 percent of the drivers side floor pan and outrigger then used the gys mig to weld in the new out rigger and floor which went ok, considering its the first time ive used a mig welder on a car but id like to try some tig welding on the triumph, I could just buy tig torch, regulator and argon bottle and use them with my Lincoln inverter or by a small tig welder, question is what should I do
