Hi
I bet you are all fed up, of new members saying the same stuff, but here goes! I am also rather addicted to forums!
I qualified as an agricultural engineer, and learnt to mig weld on Crop sprayers, mostly 10mm thick or more, and up to 25mm, witht he mig. We had a big mig, and it worked fine.
I recently have started working with a friend part time as an Artistic blacksmith, welding lots of gates and brakests etc, making metal fan light windows and the like.
I also make crazy stuff, like my Full size Penny farthing, and am planning a Monowheel just now.
For the remainder of the week, I either restore my own classics, or I work freelance restoring other peoples classics, this coulb be anything from prewar Dodges, or Bently's to post war cars like Mini Mokes and Reliants etc.
Quite varried jobs, but they all have lots of Mig in them, I look forward to learning lots and also trying to help some others if I can.
Cheers
Dave
