Hi my name is Saif, Im new to this forum. I've been wanting to start my own business fabricating custom parts for cars for a while, I want to move into fabricating custom car turbo manifolds and then progress onto selling custom turbo kits etc.

Currently I'm looking to buy a decent TIG welder that will do the job

i'd say find the work before buying all the kit.

i used to do a lot of parts and exhausts / manifolds for cars. now it's mostly for big diesels on heavy kit

Can you tig weld already? It would be very useful to have someone who can plasma or laser cut the flanges for you. Do you have any knowledge in the metallurgy side which would be useful.
