At the moment I'm putting a load of bikes and tubing together for a friend's architecture project. Most of the stuff I do is pretty agricultural....even if it's not for use on the farm it's rough looking.

It's only through reading stuff on here and looking at the tutorials that I realised just how bad a lot of my welds are, lacking penetration. So far nothings broken but there's definitely room for improvement.

V impressed with the stainless manifold you posted pics of, I know it's a dumb question but how do you get such consistant forms, I'm cutting and shaping the tubing for the current project with grinders and getting a decent mitred joint is a nightmare. Any tips?
