Just a quick post to say hi and introduce myself - I was recommended this site over on the LR4x4 forum. I've zero welding experience, but acquired a Sealey Supermig 180/5 a couple of years ago intending to learn. I've just got round to sorting it out (wire feed problems that were down to a blocked liner - generally needs a good service, I think), so I'll doubtless have plenty of (dumb) questions for you!

Well done for diagnosing the liner. Trouble buying new when you are new to welding is you think it's you not the machine, and nobody ever gives their machine a good service prior to selling it.

Ask away, also the tutorials on this site might be some help in getting you up to speed.
