I'm new to this site and only found it by chance. After browsing through it for a few days i've decided to join up.
I'm going to be carrying out a few repairs to my Fiesta RS Turbo, nothing too major, so will post pics up as its coming along.
I've got a little welding experience from working in a bodyshop part time quite a few years ago. But its nothing great.
Anyhow, after having repairs done to my car in another bodyshop a few years ago and not being particularly happy with a few of them, i've decided to buy my own welder and have a go myself.
I've bought a Clarke 151TE, used it for the first time today and i've been pretty impressed with it so far. Its taken a couple of hours to "get back into it" but i'm sort of getting there now.
I've not caused too much damage, apart from setting my arm on fire LOL (just joking) so i'll post some pics up in another thread later.
I've waffled on enough for now anyway.
I'm sure i'll be picking people's brains soon
