Funny you mentioned that, thats exactly what happened to it. Worse still they used the hiab/trailer to steal all his other kit.

i dont leave m,y scaffold tower in the trailer even though its locked in the garage. sod someone coming along and pinching it ready loaded up 
Does anyone else find that its a strange coincidence that some ones first & only post is about his machine moving business on a forum where he will likely pick up a lot of customers?

There should be a transport sticky in the for sale section, over the weekend I took an empty trailer from Surrey to a place in Kent where they still burn witches. Could of quite easily taken something down that way if there was a some sort of link.

Quite a lot of the Land Rover forums have a "courier" service section where people can say if they're moving about the country with space or people can put requests in to get stuff relayed about.
I got a mag drill delivered down from the Scottish borders for free because a friend went to see the chap with the mag drill for some other parts, he then came down a month or two later and dropped it off.
I've shifted a full set of seats from West Wales to Southern Germany FOC through the same method.

They have something like that on the MCN Ninjas forum. (I’m not a member) They call it ninjaforce
it works well. Some things get relayed. I am not a member but friend of and they have been good enough to move stuff for me now and again.Im always happy to collect in Orkney

I think the most impressive one was a part was needed reasonably urgently for an off-road race vehicle in Sweden I think it was. Same mate did a slight diversion down from Scotland to North Wales via the Lakes to pick it up. Gave it to me, I ferried it to Surrey and then when I went to visit a client dropped it off in Basingstoke. From there it went across to France when someone was going out to Le Mans. From France then winged its way to Holland via someone else and then from Holland on to Sweden.

Looks pretty limited in lift capacity though? 3 tons?
Trouble is on reach it will be down to 500kg.
To move my Elliott Sturdimill it needed a 12 ton Hiab on a 26 tonner.
