Hilti Hoover

Has anyone used the hilti hoovers?

Particularly the VC20x-M model?

Are they any good for general hoovering tasks or just dust extraction?

I need a robust light weight hoover for site work. Mainly hoovering up dust, flour, metal filings after grinding, etc.

Must be class M.

I know they do the VC20 in 240v also which will be handy as it will save carrying a transformer.

Looked at Festool, seen so many of them broken, won't survive the hardships of my ownership.

I'll be buying used rather than new.

Do Bosch make one now I have an old Bosch vac (green) do they make anything now mine has big bore hose and adapter to standard hose so great for metal fettings
It has stood 40 years in a commercial workshop, still on original brushes, noisy but still sucks like a professional

Don’t know the model ,but I used a chippys battery Hilti,it was awesome.

I had one pulled out of a skip.
Only needed a new lead.
Was larger than a 20 but was m class and not abused. Was a canny thing I gave it to someone who I work with who didn't have a decent extractor.
My work vacuum is mafell 50 m class, although run hilti and makita in the main.
The festool is a robust piece of kit and spares more readily available than hilti
