I think the term "attempted" means it was crudy junk ? Its not the rods, its not the settings that put those holes in it ( the strange bit is they look green like oxidised copper) not seen that before that I can remember - did you introduce brass or copper during the " attempted" clean up ? A coating of copper slip or something else weird?Bohler 6013 which will be rutile. Metal may have some surface rust which I attempted to wire brush off. New pack of rods kept in a nice warm living room. Before removing the slag it looks as tho' it has boiled but the welder is 150 amp max and it is 4mm rod. Didn't see this with WB alloy rods.
