for those of us without, could the same thing be achieved by welding a strip of steel to two blocks to get the step, just along the side and front so as to keep a nice square edge on the inside?
And maybe weld a hinge on the back
Nicely made, I have made them for use in presses, all that hammering looks like hard work.
I knocked this roller style one up about 30 years ago just to do one job and its still working well, easier to follow curves with too.
Usually turn it with a ratchet and 15/16" socket, not the spanner shown here
1.5mm galv sheet, much thicker than the tool was made for.
